Techo Housing Agency is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to closing the gap in homeownership through education, advocacy, and support. Founded with a deep commitment to helping underserved communities, we provide culturally competent financial literacy courses, first-time homebuyer education, and one-on-one counseling tailored to your unique needs.

Why We Do This Work
Techo Housing Agency was born out of a very personal truth: that too many hardworking families are shut out of the dream of owning a home simply because they don’t know where to start.
Our founder, Alvaro Molinares, came to this country with little more than hope and hustle. Like many immigrants, he faced a maze of confusing paperwork, unfamiliar systems, and language barriers that made buying a home feel impossible. But he also believed that with the right guidance, information, and support, that dream could become reality. And it did.
We carry that belief into everything we do. Techo is about more than housing. It's about creating stability, building generational wealth, and restoring dignity to families who have always done their part but never been given a fair shot. Our mission is to bridge the gap—with patience, with empathy, and with real tools that lead to real keys in hand.
